E-commerce website design that never closes, from a WooCommerce developer who runs stores himself.
WooCommerce development and e-commerce website design from Louisville: custom storefronts that sell around the clock, secure checkout, live shipping rates, compliance rules written for your products, and product photography we shoot ourselves.
Built to sell, front to back.
WooCommerce storefronts
Custom-designed stores on the platform that powers a third of the web, easy to manage and built to grow.
Secure checkout & payments
Cards, PayPal, and modern wallets with a checkout flow tuned to stop cart abandonment.
Shipping, tax & fulfillment
Live rates, labels, tax automation, and integrations like Printful set up and tested.
Product photography
We shoot your products ourselves: clean, consistent, conversion-ready images, not phone snapshots.
DTC & compliance builds
From age verification to regulated shipping, we have built direct-to-consumer stores for the bourbon industry.
SEO & analytics baked in
Product schema, fast pages, and tracking from day one, AI-enhanced and tuned to be found.
Shot in-house
Product photography that earns the click
These bottles sell online every day - and Shaun shot every one of them. Studio lineups for category pages, styled shots for product pages, all photographed in-house for the same stores he builds and maintains. Your products get the same care and consistency.
We build stores we would run ourselves. Then we do.
Our own Cru Bear 3D printing store runs on the exact stack we sell, and stores we built move real products every day, from small-batch bourbon with DTC shipping to century-old retail catalogs.
Six Louisville stores. Six different problems. One platform.
Three of these brands are more than a century old. One is our own. Every one runs on WooCommerce, on hosting we manage, and every one had a rule a template could not handle: state-by-state alcohol shipping, a thousand-product catalogue with live carrier rates, tours that sell out, quotes for equipment that costs more than a house.
A thousand products, live UPS rates, and a knife shop that still sharpens.
About 1,000 products across 176 categories, with brand partner sections for Wusthof, Victorinox, Spyderco and Fiskars, each with its own search copy. Live UPS rate quotes at checkout, labels and tracking wired into the order flow, and a Google Merchant Center feed so the catalogue appears in Shopping.
Sharpening, the service the shop is known for, became a product: local drop-off and mail-in sharpening bookable and buyable next to the retail catalogue. Moved onto our dedicated server in September 2026 with daily backups to Backblaze.
Bourbon shipped to your door, legally, in every state that allows it.
Selling spirits online means age verification, compliance-aware fulfilment that knows which states allow direct shipping and which need a licensed partner, and a checkout that does not flinch on release day.
The payment gateway was migrated to Clover so the register and the website agree on inventory, with fraud screening in front of every order and Cloudflare in front of the whole thing.
Tickets, tastings and a front desk that runs on software we wrote.
WooCommerce Bookings sells distillery tours and tastings every day: live calendar, ticket types, capacity and payment on the brand’s own site, with a luxury booking flow that matches the whiskey.
Behind it sits the custom guest check-in system: a one-screen board for the day, walk-ins in seconds, live capacity, attendance reports and one-click exports, plus a staff booking override for the phone.
An equipment catalogue and a quote system built for e-commerce scale traffic.
Vendome does not sell a still with an add-to-cart button. It sells through an extensive request-a-quote system attached to an equipment catalogue that distilleries, breweries and processors around the world browse every day.
This is the second Vendome website we have built in more than ten years with the company. In 2026 it moved to our dedicated server, dropped a third-party image proxy and went from roughly a second to a fraction of one, with nothing a visitor would notice changed.
630 made-to-order products, and the place every idea gets tested first.
The Island Earth is our own print-on-demand brand. WooCommerce with Printful handling production and fulfilment, Google Shopping feeds, and a checkout tuned for a store where every product is unique.
It is where caching rules, plugin choices and speed claims get proven against real orders before they are offered to a client. Running our own store keeps us honest.
Flight experiences, sold as gifts.
A flight school sells experiences, not products. The Cardinal Wings store puts flight experiences and gift cards in one catalogue, with photography-led product pages, a cart drawer, a full cart and checkout that all speak the same visual language.
Buying an experience does not reserve a date. The recipient calls the front desk when they are ready and the school finds them a day, a time and good weather. That is experience commerce, and the design is built around it rather than around a live availability calendar.
The distinction is part of the design, not small print.
Give the flight itself
On any experience the buyer chooses For myself or As a gift. The gift path asks for the recipient’s first name, the sender and a personal message, then offers three deliveries: email it now, email it on a chosen day, or print a certificate and give it in person.
Give a dollar value
A separate gift-card product with amount selection, recipient and message fields, branded artwork and a delivery date. The cart and checkout carry gift-card redemption, and a balance-check page closes the loop for the recipient.
Carry it through to paid
The gifted experience travels into the cart drawer, the cart summary and the order summary at checkout with its message intact, alongside guest checkout, express payment and coupon and gift-card fields.
From the gift form to the order summary.
What the recipient sees, and what the buyer sees on a phone.
Screens are from the development build, captured September 5, 2026, with fictional names and a sample certificate that cannot be redeemed. No order was placed and no gift was issued. Products, prices and launch details remain subject to client approval.

Current desktop, detail and phone views from four of the stores. Nothing redrawn, nothing staged.
Custom where it counts, boring where it should be.
Every store above is WooCommerce on WordPress, on our dedicated server behind Cloudflare, with the checkout, shipping and payment rules written for that business. If you are weighing platforms, read WooCommerce or Shopify, an honest answer first.
Your store in four steps.
Plan the store
Products, pricing, shipping zones, and the checkout journey, mapped before a pixel is drawn.
Design & build
A premium storefront on WooCommerce, styled to your brand and fast on every device.
Stock & connect
Products loaded, photography shot, payments and shipping wired up and tested end to end.
Launch & grow
Go live with analytics, SEO, and a partner who keeps the store fast, secure, and selling.
Before you open the doors.
Why WooCommerce?
You own it. No monthly platform tax, no rented storefront, and it runs on the WordPress stack we have built on for 20 years. Weighing the two platforms? Read WooCommerce or Shopify, an honest answer.
Can you migrate my existing store?
Yes. Products, customers, and order history move over, and your URLs get redirected so search rankings survive the switch.
Do you do the product photography?
Yes, and it is our favorite advantage. Consistent, professional product images are half of what makes a store convert.
What about regulated products?
We have shipped direct-to-consumer bourbon with age verification and state compliance. If your product has rules, we have likely built for them.
