PROJECT SPOTLIGHT / STORAGE FACILITY WEBSITE

A clearer view of the property, and a phone number one tap away.

Lakeside Boat Storage is the same family’s boat and RV storage facility next door to Lakeside Oasis RV Park: 75 bays from 30 to 80 feet, one mile from Safe Harbor Grider Hill Marina. The website refresh put updated aerial photography in the slider and gallery, a video tour on the homepage, and the sizes, pricing and contact paths within easy reach.

A STRAIGHTFORWARD JOB

Show the facility. Explain the bays. Make the call easy.

For a storage facility the website has one job with three parts: show prospective customers the property, explain the storage options, and make it easy to call or send an inquiry. The refresh keeps the site’s navy-and-gold identity and puts the new aerial photography of the buildings and the lake front and center.

The homepage brings together the four bay sizes with annual pricing, the facility features, a video tour and a photo gallery, so a boat or RV owner can get a sense of the location and the buildings before they pick up the phone. The phone number is a button in the header on every page.

Exact screens, not mockups.

THE RESULT

A focused small-business website with a clear purpose.

The result is a website that helps people understand the storage facility and start a conversation about what they need. It is deliberately simple, because the business is clear about what it offers.

Lakeside Boat Storage sits beside Lakeside Oasis RV Park, whose full redesign and interactive park map are the larger of the two projects. Inquiries and occupancy are not measured outcomes of this refresh, and this page does not claim them.

THE VIDEO TOUR

Four minutes through the bays, the grounds and the drive.

The homepage video walks a visitor through the bays, the grounds and the road in from the marina. It sits below the pricing grid, where someone who has already read the numbers can decide whether the place looks right.

The same approach, at larger scale, is on the campground and RV park website design page and in the small business website design work across this site. The device scenes on this page are presentation environments built from the real screens; the browser captures are the exact record.
