ABOUT SHAUN WILSON

One person. Every discipline. Since 2000.

Louisville native. Broadcast TV roots. Two decades of websites, video, photography, and flight, all under one roof and one name.

THE SHORT VERSION

A career built one craft at a time

Broadcast television roots

Shaun started behind the camera on Steel Dreams, a nationally syndicated motorsports TV show, shooting, editing, and producing coast-to-coast coverage.

Websites since 2002

Shaun Wilson Designs has built, hosted, and maintained WordPress sites for Louisville businesses for more than two decades.

Video production

From broadcast productions to brand films and monthly construction updates, video has been part of the toolkit from day one.

In the air since 2014

Aerial Photography Louisville flies drones and helicopters across Kentucky and Southern Indiana. FAA Part 107 licensed and insured.

The brand side of the desk

As Creative Marketing Director for Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co. since 2014, Shaun runs brand, web, and marketing from the client side too.

Always building something

Cru Bear, his 3D printing studio, turns engineering CAD into trade-show displays and products. The curiosity never stopped.

WHY IT ALL FITS TOGETHER

Hire one person who can carry the whole project

Most projects need a website, photography, video, and someone who can make them work together. Shaun has spent 25 years doing all four. When you call, you get the person who does the work.

HOW SHAUN WORKS

Straight answers

A real conversation, an honest quote, and no sales runaround.

02

One accountable person

The person you talk to is the person who designs, shoots, and builds.

03

Every tool in-house

Cameras, drones, lighting, audio, code, and AI-enhanced workflows, all under one roof.

04

Louisville proud

Ballard grad, Louisville native, and invested in the businesses of this city.

QUICK QUESTIONS

The things people ask

Who will I actually work with?

Shaun. Not an account manager, not a rotating team. The same person from first call to final delivery.

How long have you been doing this?

Professionally since 1999, starting in broadcast television. Shaun Wilson Designs has served Louisville since 2002.

What do you actually do?

WordPress websites and e-commerce, video production, ground and aerial photography, drone and helicopter work, custom plugins, and brand marketing.

Where are you based?

Louisville, Kentucky, serving the whole region including Lexington, Southern Indiana, and beyond when projects call for it.

BEHIND THE LENS

The work behind the work

Distillery floors, helicopter doors off, studio tables, and job sites across Kentucky - every image on this site was shot, edited, or built by me.

HOW WORKING TOGETHER GOES

One person, start to finish

The whole pitch here is that the person you talk to is the person doing the work. That changes some practical things worth knowing before you start.

You get one number

No account manager relaying notes. The person who built it is the person who answers when something needs changing.

Nothing is subcontracted out

Design, build, photography, video, and the drone work all happen here. That is why the pieces match each other.

Small enough to care

A handful of clients at a time rather than a queue. It is also why the calendar sometimes has a wait on it.

Straight answers on scope

If something you are asking for is not worth what it costs, you will hear that instead of a quote for it.

Still here afterwards

Most of these sites have been maintained here for years. Launch day is the start of the relationship, not the end.

Louisville based

Local enough to walk your site, meet in person, and understand the market you are actually selling into.

SHOT FROM THE DOOR

Since 2000, one pair of hands

Broadcast television, then bourbon brands, then construction sites at four hundred feet. The camera changed, the standard did not.
