Barrels, people, and a legacy. One job: the quote.
Legacy Cooperages builds bourbon barrels in Kentucky. Shaun Wilson Designs built the brand and the website, and shot nearly every photograph on it, from the ground and from the air. The whole site is organised around a single job: getting a barrel quote in front of the right person quickly.

Bourbon barrel cooperage
Brand, website, ground + aerial photography
A cooperage sells trust, then barrels.
A distillery choosing a cooperage is choosing the wood its whiskey will live in for years. The website had to show the people, the staves, the char and the scale of the operation with the same seriousness the buyers bring to the decision, and then get out of the way of the one action that matters: a quote request.
That meant original photography rather than stock, a structure that leads every page back to the quote, and a brand that reads as established rather than new. Nearly every image on the site was shot by Shaun on the cooperage floor and above it.

Exact screens, not mockups.
These are direct browser captures of the live site at 1440 and 390 pixels. Nothing redrawn, nothing staged.
The work, piece by piece.
Brand and identity
A brand system for a cooperage that had the craft but not the visual language to match it: mark, type, colour and tone carried through the site.
The website
A WordPress site built around the barrel quote: cooperage story, barrels and specifications, people, and a direct request route on every page.
Ground photography
The cooperage floor, the staves, the hoops, the char and the crew, photographed in-house so the site shows the real operation rather than stock imagery.
Aerial photography
Drone photography of the facility and its yard, giving buyers the scale of the operation in one frame.
Quote-first structure
Navigation, page endings and calls to action all lead to the quote request, so a busy distillery buyer never has to hunt for the next step.
Phone-ready
The site holds its hierarchy on a phone, where a buyer is as likely to first look as at a desk.
Built for every screen it will meet.
A website that sells the cooperage before the first call.
Legacy Cooperages now has a brand and a website that match the barrels: established, photographed properly, and pointed at the quote. Buyers see the people, the process and the scale, and the request form is never more than one step away.
Shaun Wilson Designs continues to look after the site and the business systems behind it.
