LAW FIRM WEBSITE DESIGN

Law firm website design that makes the phone ring.

A law firm website has one job: make a stranger in a stressful moment comfortable enough to call. We design and build WordPress sites for attorneys in Louisville and across Kentucky, from solo practices to multi-attorney firms, from one person who designs it, builds it, hosts it and answers the phone afterwards.

WHO THIS IS FOR

Six signs a law practice has outgrown its website.

01

It does not build trust in five seconds

A prospective client decides in seconds whether to call. A dated or cluttered site loses that decision before your credentials load.

02

Practice areas are buried

If a visitor cannot tell within one scroll what you handle and how to start, they call the next firm on the list.

03

It breaks on phones

Most legal searches happen on a phone, often in a parking lot or a hallway. The site has to work there first.

04

Nobody finds you on Google

A practice that does not rank for what it handles, where it practises, is invisible to the clients it wants.

05

It looks like every other firm

Directory templates make every attorney look like the same attorney. Credibility is the product, and the site has to carry it.

06

You want one person to call

Not a marketing agency’s ticket queue. The person who designed it, built it and hosts it.

CREDIBILITY IS THE PRODUCT

Websites that make the phone ring.

For a law practice the website has one job: make a stranger comfortable enough to call. Everything in the build, from typography to load speed to where the phone number sits, serves that moment of trust. And it is sized to the practice: a solo attorney and a multi-attorney firm need different sites and should pay different prices.

LAW FIRM WORK, UP CLOSE

Two Kentucky law practices, and what their websites do now.

Both sites below are live today. A Louisville attorney who needed credibility in the first five seconds, and a solo practice that needed a clean, affordable site that simply gets the job done.

JUSTIN GOOCH LAW / LOUISVILLE ATTORNEY

A law practice that looks as sharp as its counsel.

Justin Gooch Law needed a website that builds trust in the first five seconds. Clean, credible and mobile-first, with clear practice areas, a fast and hardened WordPress build, structured metadata aimed at the searches Louisville clients actually make, and a path to a consultation on every page. The firm updates its own content without calling a developer.

TODD LEWIS LAW / SOLO PRACTICE

A solo practice site, built lean and built right.

Not every practice needs a flagship build. Todd Lewis Law needed a clean, affordable, professional site: who, what, where and how to call, done well, with every page leading to the phone number and the contact form.

In September 2026 it moved onto our dedicated server behind Cloudflare, roughly five times faster than before, with all 41 pages verified and off-site backups in place.

THE POINT OF ALL OF IT

Built for the client on the phone.

Fast, clear, credible, and pointed at the call. Hosted on our own dedicated server and looked after by the person who built it, so the site is never the thing you worry about.

BUILT AND RUNNING

What the work looks like on a desk, in a hand and on a phone.

Current desktop, detail and phone views of live law practice sites. Nothing redrawn, nothing staged. Both still have me handling hosting and updates.

HOW A NEW SITE COMES TOGETHER

Four steps from first call to first lead.

01

Listen

A real conversation about the practice: what you handle, who you want to reach, and what has not worked before.

02

Design

A clean, credible look built around the client’s decision to call, reviewed with you before anything is built.

03

Build

Fast, hardened WordPress on our own server, with practice areas, attorney profiles and contact paths structured for search.

04

Launch & Care

Search setup, analytics and a launch checklist, then hosting and updates from the person who built it.

LAW FIRM WEBSITE QUESTIONS, ANSWERED

What attorneys ask before they hire a web designer.

How much does a law firm website cost?

Scoped flat after a conversation about the practice, so you have a clear number before any work starts. A solo practice site and a multi-attorney firm site are priced very differently, and we will tell you which one you actually need.

What about attorney advertising rules?

You know your bar’s rules; we build to them. Disclaimers where you need them, nothing published without your sign-off, and content you can change yourself the day a rule does.

How long does a law firm website take?

Weeks, not months. Scope sets the schedule, you get a date up front, and a private staging link the whole way through.

Will clients find it on Google?

It is built to be found: clean structure, fast pages, proper titles and schema for a legal practice, and search setup at launch. Ranking for competitive legal terms takes time and links, and we are honest about that rather than promising page one.

Can I update it myself?

Yes. It is built in the WordPress editor with native blocks, not a page builder that locks you in, and you get a walkthrough at handover.

Who hosts it, and who do I call?

We host it on our own dedicated server behind Cloudflare, and you call the person who built it. Hosting, updates and support are one relationship, not three.
